I can barely find the words to express my level of thanks, excitement, overwhelm and awe in this moment.
50 Shades of Silence, The Documentary has been selected to screen at two upcoming film festivals.
If you are in LA or Chandler, Arizona I would love for you to join me in the audience for these special occasions.
Meet me in Los Angeles December 6th- 12th at the Kirk Douglas Theater for the Culver City Film Festival.
And in Arizona in January 17th- 20th, 2020 at the Chandler International Film Festival.
This is a dream come true for me, the women in our film, my crew and team. Directing and producing this documentary, as part of our social justice project to bring voice and dignity to victims of cyber harassment and revenge porn is an honor for me. I invite the audience in on the most private and pressing moments of my life and the lives of these brave women in the film.
The issue of cyber bullying and revenge porn couldn’t be more prevalent these days. You may have seen the news circulating around Representative Katie Hill and her quest for justice after her ex-husband unleashed a revenge-porn attack.
Ending the silence, using our voices and protecting ourselves in paramount.
I’ll keep you posted on when the documentary is airing in the theaters. I hope you will join me in the audience.
More importantly, I owe my thanks to so many people, the women in the film, my crew, staff, team, supporters, family and friends.
I’ll be sharing more details when the screening dates and times are available.
Until then, I’m sending every victim of these crimes my best wishes of light, love and success.
There truly is a better tomorrow from the dark shades of today.
