Darieth is a 2 X Emmy award-winning television personality and veteran journalist, business coach, author and speaker, Darieth Chisolm, who found herself at the center of an online assault that triggered international attention when this happened, she added filmmaker to her title.

Darieth rose from a very humiliating, painful and potentially professionally damaging incident to tell her story of revenge porn and launched 50 Shades of Silence to shed the light on the lack of civil and criminal punishment for perpetrators of these crimes and bring voice and dignity to the victims of cyber harassment and abuse.

50 Shades of Silence is also the title of her documentary, accounting her story and the stories of women and advocates she traveled the country in search of.

Darieth has been featured on the Megyn Kelly TODAY Show ,The Dr. Oz Show, FOX News, In Health Magazine, and several other notable media outlets and publications, and has become what Dr. Oz calls her, “a leading advocate in victim’s rights particularly in regards to revenge porn.”

Her social justice and multimedia project, 50 Shades of Silence, specifically aims to advocate for stricter laws and tougher enforcement for cyber sexual crimes; encourage the accountability and responsiveness among online companies; promote social responsibility for texting, posting and sharing online; and restore dignity and respect to victims and survivors. The project includes an upcoming documentary, a website with resources and services, and motivational and empowerment training materials to help victims.

In the last two years, Darieth has elevated the conversation around image-based abuse, revenge porn and cyber harassment by touring the country speaking on such diverse platforms as the World Woman Summit, the Metrowest Conference for Women and several TED stages. Chris Daley, Organizer of TEDxPittsburgh said of Darieth, “She absolutely captivated the in-person audience as they followed her journey that led to her idea for better safeguards for individuals in our evolving digital world.” Her TED.com talk has been translated to 14 different languages.

Darieth is also currently the host of CBS Eye on Health and Emmy Award-winning PBS iQ: smartparent. During and following her successful 30-year career in television, Darieth excelled in the area of entrepreneurship. Her YouTube channel and online video podcast series, Hustle & Heart TVwas a Top 10 Finalist for the 2015 Podcast Awards for Best Video Podcast and was ranked #1 on iTunes for more than two months with subscribers and viewers in multiple countries.

Mike Wittlin’s credits cross over Broadway, feature films, and television. As an award winning Producer and Director, his projects have attracted a multitude of talented Actors.  He currently has several feature films slated along with numerous television shows in production. In the past Mike has operated under a First Look Deal with Sony Pictures Television, and also had an office on the backlot of Universal Studios, He has produced feature films including THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE directed by Blair Underwood, starring Ving Rhames and the internationally distributed horror film, HACK starring William Forsythe.

Mike’s Broadway debut was with the smash hit, ROCK OF AGES which was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Show. Other credits include ON THE INSIDE starring Olivia Wilde and Nick Stahl and THE CHIEF, a homage to the great Art Rooney, Sr. founder of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Amy J. Wright was born and raised in Oakland, California and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. She is a graduate of The University of California, Riverside (2010) where she received her BA in Theatre; Long Island University (2013) where she received her MS Ed. in Special Education; and finally, The New York Film Academy (2015) where she completed the Documentary Filmmaking intensive program. She has since worked as a producer, director, production coordinator and editor on short, feature, and serial documentaries. She has also screened her short documentary “Legacy” at various film festivals around the country, including the March on Washington Film Festival, where it won the grand jury prize for Best Short in a special screening at The Obama White House. She is currently working on independent projects of African-American interest.

After graduation, she began her career with Steeltown Entertainment Project as an intern and worked her way up the ladder to Program Coordinator. Over the course her four years at Steeltown, she functioned as Associate Producer on a TV show, she developed the educational structure for an innovative community film, and she implemented the process by which the organization tracks its data. She is also a freelance editor and producer. In her free time, she is a weird TV junkie and avid gamer.

Emmai Alaquiva, an Emmy Award-winning film director, composer and mentor is known for his impact across mixed-media art platforms. Once homeless and one who occupied the unforgiving streets of Pittsburgh Pa., Alaquiva shifted the trajectory of his life’s path to become one of the most distinct trailblazers in the arena of creative arts. Most recently, he added curator to his name with the birth of his first notable interactive photography exhibit; OpticVoices.

Today, Alaquiva is the proud CEO of Ya Momz House, Inc., an award-winning multimedia company, director for CBS Sports Network’s Daytime Emmy-nominated TV  Show “Game Changers,” as well as co-founder of the award-winning arts education program; Hip-Hop On L.O.C.K. which has over 48 partnerships, in 11 school districts and serves over 5,000 young people to date throughout western Pennsylvania.

Presenting his first TEDx talk in 2016, Alaquiva’s work has been seen and heard across the world through media giants from CBS, Amazon and NBC to celebrity projects with Oprah Winfrey, Wiz Khalifa, Martha Stewart, The Roots, Rachel Ray, the late Dr. Maya Angelou and more. This 7-time Telly Award-winner has been recognized as Pittsburgh 40 under 40, WHIRL’s “50 Finest”, The New Pittsburgh Courier’s FAB 40, along with several proclamations from City of Pittsburgh Mayor, Bill Peduto. Alaquiva’s most recent accolades come in the form of a 2017 Emmy nomination his international directorial premiere of the film Ghetto Steps”, a film chronicling the Holocaust and was selected by the City of Pittsburgh to spearhead the Amazon Pitch Video for there second Headquarters.

Fernando Barron II has been in video production for over 15 years, working at TV stations and production companies. Before graduating college Fernando had already been working at WXEL for two years as a Master Control Operator. During his career, he has obtained his degree in Broadcasting, completed courses at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and The Palm Beach Film School. Working as PA, camera operator and editor, he has always taken the time to learn new techniques in this ever changing business. His current projects are as the Director of Photography and Editor for a feature film and the DP for a documentary. The feature film Gravedigger is his current film project working with Infinite Abyss Theater in making that happen. Another feature film is Sam & Me directed by Brian Kirk staring Madylin Sweeten, Craig Henne and Declan Joyce. The documentary goes behind the scenes of the Florida Renaissance Festival in 2014. Alisyn Blackwell was accepted for an internship with PBS affiliate WQED (think everyone’s childhood favorite Mister Roger’s Neighborhood), she knew that documentaries were where her heart was.

After graduating, Alisyn began working at WQED as a Production Assistant on the Emmy-Winning Pittsburgh from the Air. After that, she worked her way through the company, becoming a producer, shooter and editor on programs for TV and for the web, most notably on the award-winning WQED Sessions and Pittsburgh Eats. Alisyn continues to work independently and on passion-projects and stays active in the Pittsburgh film community.

After witnessing an ongoing cyber sexual assault, Chuck has devoted his research talents to the topic cyber harassment. He is responsible for researching case studies, organizations, news reports and various information related to cyber crimes.

Chuck has helped lawyers, law enforcement, and international authorities become educated about the current laws and penalties. It is Chuck’s goal to continue to express the severity of the crimes to stiffen penalties internationally and to educate the general public about damages caused to victims.

Lori Jones’s life turned into a nightmare when she became victim of Cyber Sexual Harassment (aka Revenge Porn) at the hands of her ex-husband. Overcoming a very difficult time in her life, Lori has vowed to bring awareness and education to victims, law enforcement and most importantly our children. She believes the most significant aspect of obtaining support and help were through other survivors like her.  She is aware of what a victim goes through and with her passion and understanding can help victims become a survivor. We proudly welcome her as our Angel Ambassador coordinator.
